Hi! I'm Melissa

If you’re struggling with your mental and/or physical health, I’ve been there and I get it. I experienced the perfect storm of events that led to me living with chronic illness and a multitude of symptoms for years. I took the long road to heal, spent thousands, saw numerous practitioners, and made minimal progress going the traditional routes. Eventually I was able to heal and change my life, but that doesn’t mean I don’t remember what it felt like to be ill, to lose my home, my livelihood, my relationships, and myself.

"In the end, the only person who can really make a change you want in your life is you. And you can."

This is my WHY behind what I do.
Healing is an inside job. Although you may not be responsible for what happened to you, what comes next is definitely your choice. If it feels right for you, it would be my honour to support you in your journey so you’re not alone. The truth is your body has all that it needs to heal. I’m just there to help facilitate and reconnect you to your inner wisdom. I won’t give up on you so neither should you. Trust me when I say the journey is so worth it, and so are you!
A Bit About Me…
I’m a mother, animal and sports lover and avid reader. Being a Spinal Flow Practitioner and Brain Retraining Coach is my passion. I’m on a mission to empower you to believe in, and experience firsthand, the incredible healing power within you. When you live with your pain, disease or illness for a long time, it can slowly become a part of you, and you may not believe healing is possible for you. I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way. Transformation is possible at any stage of your life. My goal as your practitioner is always to take your body to its fullest capacity to heal so you can emerge as your true self, living the life you deserve.
The WHY behind EVOLVE’s Butterfly…

Years ago my mom received a scary medical diagnosis. My siblings and I wanted to find a way to uplift her spirits, so we created little gifts for her to open each day. One day, she opened a scarf with butterflies. We told her that she was in her chrysalis phase – undergoing her metamorphosis to become a butterfly – and that soon she would be a butterfly.
Years later, I experienced my own health crisis. My mom came to me one day with the same butterfly scarf in hand. She said, “I think you need this now” and I did. To me, the butterfly is not only my reminder of the strength my mom and I both carried in our journeys, it’s my connection to her. I also carry a belief that the chrysalis phase, although the most challenging part at times, is exactly what is needed to push us toward doing the inner work required to transform and change our lives.
